The minuite we walked in we were able to get a table and were greated with a tasting spash of wine right out of the container. They had a large variety of wine and bourbon. We did the Texas wine tasting, but they have options for 2 different bourbon tastings or a wine tasting of their California wines. They have a large selection of bottles to take home as well. They have some cocktails and coffee options as well. There are some charcuterie boards as the food option. Some indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating on a gorgeous patio.

This is an extremely innovative winery that is the only winery making Texas wine aged with Texas White Oak. Tannat is the wine to try here, but the Picpoul is also outstanding. This is a bit of a drive from central Texas, but we'll worth the trip.

So we were excited to finally visit the family owned Bending Branch winery in Comfort Texas Founded in 2009.
Known for Tannat-based red wines which are a smooth, full-bodied, robust red wine .
We enjoyed a wine tasting ,
They also offer premium bourbon tastings. Nice outdoor patio & seating area. Live music every Saturday afternoon. Open noon to 6 p.m. daily. .
