such a wonderful experience at the Windmill Garden Centre this morning! Raylene… i'm sorry if i've gotten the name wrong… was IMMENSELY helpful and knowledgeable about native plants that will not only survive, but THRIVE in this environment. Raylene (again, sorry if i've messed up the name), also assisted with a couple of tropical house plants, and a Bay Laurel i fully intend to pamper and grow when it comes in. CarrieAnn (?!) was at the till in training, and both these women made my morning a sunny, delightful gardening adventure! thank you so much. Mahara.

Botanicals is a super cute plant shop in Medicine Hat that sells different plants, pots and home and lifestyle items. The ladies that run it also do workshops in their crafting area, so you can learn how to make your own succulent planters, craft seasonal cookies, etc. I have even taken in one of our plants that I thought had pests in it and they checked it out for me and identified it for me (it was only a spider and not mites).

The ladies that run the store are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to buy a new plant or two and they are well cared for and healthy. They will even have a service where they try to coax your sick plants back to life if your green thumb isn’t up to snuff yet. My wife follows them on social media and loves to check out their store as they are always bringing in new, interesting items. A great little local business, well deserving of your support!
