Went here for the first time today and was not disappointed by the friendly service. Super cozy spot with no trouble. The guy behind the bar (who I presume was the owner) was more than accommodating and could tell that he’s been doing this for years! Friendly guy with good banter.

Took a mate from the west coast of the states in as he loves beer. He loved it, thought it was a great place, quirky, interesting and fascinating. Loved all the stuff on the walks, wanted take done back to the states with him. Good choice of beers and ciders. Staff helpful and friendly, nice to see it let's in dogs as well. He wants visit again next year when over again.

A small but lovely pub that concentrates on beautifully kept real ales and ciders. There's no draft lager so the scrotes stay away. Lacking intrusive musak and machines, there is real conversation and good quality banter. Bring and hide a yellow rubber duck to wind up Grum who keeps this wonderful pub.
