Jeffrey Mitchell – Executive Chef
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Chef Jeff Mitchell brings decades of culinary expertise and a passion for bold, fresh flavors to Butcher and Barrel. With an impressive resume, including leadership roles at Morton’s Steakhouse and Seasons 52, Chef Mitchell is thrilled to be part of owner Kevin McBride’s vision of creating Sacramento’s premier dining destination.
When not in the kitchen, Chef Jeff enjoys gardening, reading, and cheering for the Sacramento Republic.
Michael Gray – General Manager
With over 20 years of experience in restaurant management, Michael Gray is dedicated to delivering excellence in every aspect of Butcher and Barrel. A strong advocate for locally sourced ingredients and a seamless guest experience, Michael’s leadership ensures every visit reflects the restaurant’s motto: “Do It Right the First Time.”
