Stellar experience. This is a well represented museum, something I wasn't necessarily expecting since it is free admission all day, every day due to an endowment. Grandma Moses, Georgia O'Keefe, Jackson Pollock, and many others make this a beautiful and well rounded experience. The old man on the bench was mind blowing! It makes me so happy to see the arts made accessible to everyone. The architecture of the building itself is spectacular as well. Even the food at Eleven (the restaurant in the museum) had fantastic food. I had the spiced catfish with a tomato gravy and purple Arkansas rice. Absolutely delicious! Cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed the day. My soul happily absorbed the visual beauty and the deep meaning behind some of the pieces. Plenty of walking trails as well. I left there on such a high.

I don’t want to write a whole paragraph but I LOVE this museum! It has a huge selection of modern/contemporary and “classical” paintings. Gorgeous outdoor trails with art and gardens along the way. They typically have special exhibitions that you can pay to access, but the museum general admission is completely free!! There is also a delicious restaurant and a coffee bar. Additionally, there’s a large library upstairs full of art history and books. Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!
