I’m from New York, and I can’t believe it took me this long to make my way to Baltimore for this.

I literally hopped in my car and made a four-hour drive just to see if the buzz was real and I’m glad I did. From the moment I pulled up, the outside had a cool vintage industrial vibe that already set the tone.

I came for brunch and tried the catfish and grits for the first time, and wow… that first bite punched me with flavor. The catfish was crispy, the grits were creamy, and everything tasted like real, made-with-love soul comfort food.

This wasn’t overhyped or forced it felt genuine. The food, the vibe, the experience all matched. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers comfort, flavor, and authenticity, Culture Bar & Grill is absolutely worth checking out.

From the moment I walked into Culture Bar and Grill, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere radiates good vibes and the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening with friends and family!

Let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible! Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor and soul. It tasted like a beautiful blend of Southern comfort and classic soul food, made with love and seasoned to perfection. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in every bite they serve. Now the drinks? Strong, bold, and delicious. Whether you're into cocktails, straight pours, or something sweet with a kick, the bar knows exactly what they're doing. Each drink was well-balanced, full of flavor, and packed just the right punch—perfect for a night out with friends or winding down after a long day. What truly elevated the experience was the customer service. The staff were amazing; friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You could feel the hospitality from start to finish, making the whole experience even more memorable.

I saw this restaurant on Instagram and made a mental note to visit. On New Year’s Day, hubby was like I want to visit this restaurant called Culture. We actually had our boys with us so we were going to order and take it to go but upon getting there, the ladies made us feel okay to stay and eat with the boys.

Hubby had the lamb chops with cabbage and asparagus. Lamb chops were tender and very flavorful. The cabbage was sooo freaking good! However, the asparagus was left to be desired.

The boys had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. My youngest said he’s never had a burger that was that good. I didn’t take a pic but the plate was clean when was done.

I ordered the catfish with the string beans and Mac and cheese. The fish was light and seasoned. Soo good! The string beans were flavorful and cooked with turkey meat but they tasted like they came from the can. And the Mac and cheese was so cheesy and delicious. The cornbread muffin that came with the meal was delicious too.

We ordered the Strawberry Mojito, the lemon drops and Main Squeeze for drinks. Strawberry lemonade for the kids.

We ordered one bomb cake to go. I was so mad we didn’t get two. It melted in your mouth. Monii was our waitress and she was great. The music was good. The only that was annoying was where we sat was so tight that there would be traffic getting in the way as a line formed to use the one bathroom they had.

Other than that, we had a great experience and we will be visiting again.
