I was the photographer for a wedding here this past fall and it was such a gorgeous venue! The ceremony was on the rooftop which was fun and unique for their closest friends and family. The day of coordinator – Sam – was so helpful all day and everything went very smoothly! I loved the transition from rooftop ceremony to the dinner on the main floor and a fun reception in the basement with an Elvis impersonator! I highly recommend for a fun and unique venue space in Des Moines!

I LOVE the fact Des Moines has this place! All sorts of great, artsy events and outings. There always seems to be something going on here. Whether it’s comedy, games, discussions, dances, silent disco yoga, or whatever it may be. Check them out on Facebook for a list of upcoming events. Highly recommend if you’re interested in trying something unique or new to you.

Enjoyed some live jazz in The Basement (downstairs at the Kum & Go Theater) on a Friday afternoon. The venue is very comfortable, with tables and couches scattered around the room. The bar servers a good mix of craft beer and wine, along with some very simple snacks like popcorn, pretzels, and peanuts.
