Lovely little museum. It's just a few rooms upstairs in the Archives building, but enough to while away 30-60 minutes, I reckon. An impressive haul of fossils, dinosaur bones/models and some ice-age/early man exhibits. Some more local history stuff too, although it must be said those bits did less to capture my 2 year old's attention!

Visited today as lived in Dudley 7 years and didn't know it existed. Mark gave us a guided tour and it was great, proper channeled my inner geek… learned loads about the area Ave of course the dudley bug. It's free too

Dudley Museum (allow 1 hour) is next door to the Black Country Living Museum and easy to not notice due to lack of obvious museum signage. This free museum has incredible fossils, cute dinosaur models, and well presented local history. A peaceful place to learn and enjoy (with children's areas & trails).
