A cozy and aesthetic cafe with a mini-museum upstairs! We ordered the Moron Shake (a must-try!), iced cappuccino, and pesto pasta.
My wife and I had a brief interaction with the owner (Sambo Y.) who personally gave us a mini-tour. He showed us two working TVs from the 40s (1940s!) and fascinating items such as newspapers from President Osmeña’s time and photos from the Japanese occupation.
The propeller of the EV Jocelyn is also on display at the back — an interesting memento from Typhoon Yolanda.
Overall, a great place for those who appreciate aesthetically pleasing cafes and the rich art and history of Tacloban.
I am proud as a Taclobanon to have something like this. Kudos to Espazio!!!

We stayed about three hours and had avocado shakes and iced americanos. The space is so inviting and the staff very friendly. Also visited the upstairs history center with objects and literature from the wartime era.
