Great place. Great experience. I really enjoyed my visit. it’s one of those places where history, architecture, and peaceful atmosphere come together perfectly. Built during the early Spanish period, the fort is the oldest triangular bastion fort in the Philippines, and you can truly feel the heritage in every stone wall and corridor.

The original Fort San Pedro was made of wood and built after the arrival of Legazpi and his expedition.

In the early 17th century a stone fort was built to repel Muslim raiders. Today's structure dates from 1738 and is the oldest triangular bastion fort in the country.

The fort is small but an important historical site right in the heart of Cebu City.

It is well-preserved and offers a glimpse into the Spanish colonial era, with a Gallery the sells art works, a section featuring Cebu delicacies and souvenirs and at the start of the steps is an alcove with visually impaired musicians serenading visitors.

The garden inside is peaceful, and you can walk along the top of the walls for a nice view of the plaza and waterfront.

Entrance is P30 and we were able to explore the place 30 minutes.

It’s ok for an easy quick tour.
Not much to see beside old walls and rusty guns.
    The entry is very cheap.
There was an art exhibition as well. I liked that there was no crowd and no waiting
