Our experience at Fort William was truly exceptional. From the moment I reached out to ask if our family could enjoy a private tour—similar to those offered to school groups, complete with musket and cannon demonstrations and canoeing—they went above and beyond to accommodate us.
From the warm welcome at check-in to the moment we drove out of the parking lot, every part of our visit was unforgettable. We not only had a fantastic time, but we also learned so much along the way. The entire staff was knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly helpful.
It was, without a doubt, one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Canada. A heartfelt thank you to the Fort William team for making our visit so special!

Fort William is a great experience. September is cooler with easier access. We had excellent service with a shuttle ride to the park entrance. It's my favorite tour when going up to Thunder Bay.

A very unique experience. We got to see cannon fire and old gun fire. There were also people acting the part as if old hunters and gatherers just came from collecting animal hides. It is very historically informative and a very cool spot to spend a few hours in. Honestly a must visit.
