This is a great little theater in downtown Monterey. Very intimate and parking isn't bad because there is a garage fairly close. It's a perfect place to go downtown and eat dinner and then watch a show.
It's a beautiful old building with ornate architecture. And the employees are always very friendly and welcoming.
* Note- The seating is set by two"s so for example seat 2 & 4 are next to each other.

We saw Billy and the Blood Brothers, featuring Bill Murray on vocals and tambourine (and cowbell!) – a great show! The place hold about 1,000 for a concert – the seats are comfortable enough, sight lines are all good…

GST is a time machine back to the golden days of theatre. The architecture, the hand-carved fixtures, the whole feel of the place is a show by itself. The shows are great, with a wide variety of people and topics.
