We stayed at the Granbell Hotel Tokyo for five wonderful nights, and everything was truly perfect. The organization, the impeccable cleanliness, and the overall attention to detail were exceptional. Every member of the staff was consistently kind, welcoming, and professional.
A special mention goes to the bartender, who was remarkably polite, skilled, and tireless. Thanks to him, we enjoyed an unforgettable Gin & Tonic made with Kyoto High-Class Gin — one of the best cocktails we’ve ever had.
Every service exceeded our expectations and contributed to an extraordinary stay.
We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Highly recommended.

Very good hotel. Stayed here for 4 nights and it was wonderful. Beautifully modern design, ammenities were useful and plentiful including face masks, moisturiser, tea, coffee and more. The room was one of the more spacious since visiting and the service was wonderful. Hotel staff are both friendly and helpful. On top of that, it is just a 3 min walk to the train station and a 10 min walk to the bus to Kyoto station. If you are looking to stay in Kyoto I would highly recommend here.

We stayed here for three nights during the second leg of our Japan trip in Kyoto. The location is as central as you can get – it's in middle of Gion and a short walk to the train line, and across the river to Nishiki Market. The rooms are tiny but fine for a short stay. We opted for a double twin room instead of Queen, which I would recommend because it gave us a little more space to move around. The bathtub was huge (even for a bigger guy) and I used it.
The staff was incredibly friendly and informative upon check-in. While we were unable to check-in before 3:00pm, they stored our bags and took them up to the room for us. The lobby is cozy with free coffee, water, snacks, and toiletries. There's a coin laundry in the basement which we made use of (though it took a few tries to find an opening when it wasn't in use). The biggest perk was the Public Bath, which we used multiple times and is tattoo-friendly. We skipped the breakfast option, but there's one available along with a bar and restaurant. All around I thought this was an excellent mid-range option that's centrally located with great amenities.
