Beautiful smaller theater. No matter where you sit in this theater it's still a great seat. They brought in one of my favorite Broadway stars: 2 time Tony award winner Sutton Foster. Need I say more? We need more professional acts here in Hawaiʻi. Such a lovely night!

Saw Phil Rosenthal and it was wonderful. Theatre is always beautiful.

We got seats in the very last row on the top center..if you are 5'5" or under you will be comfortable, any taller then your knees are flushed/pushed against the seat infront of you. Seats in front have more leg room. Otherwise it is a beautiful venue.

Jefferson Starship Live at Hawai‘i Theatre – A VIP Experience Beyond the Stars

This night had been planned for months—but for my family, it was a complete surprise. Somehow, I managed to keep it a secret until the very day, and let me tell you… it was worth every second of suspense.

We had the VIP1 package, and yes—it was pricey, but it included everything a lifelong fan could dream of, and more. We arrived early and got to be part of Jefferson Starship’s soundcheck, followed by a family photo shoot with the band. It was surreal. I even got to shake hands with each member and show them my vintage ticket stub from Nov. 13, 1982, when I first saw them in my hometown. The look on their faces? Priceless.

The VIP bundle was loaded with exclusive memorabilia:
    • Signed posters
    • A limited-edition enamel pin
    • A stylish tote bag
    • A VIP lanyard and backstage pass
    • Plus, the freedom to take photos and videos—a true fan’s dream

We were seated in the second row—close enough to feel every chord, every drumbeat, every lyric. But before Jefferson Starship took the stage, we were treated to Dominic, a local up-and-coming artist from Honolulu. His performance was a great surprise—smooth, soulful, and the perfect way to open the night.

Then came the main act—Jefferson Starship lit up the Hawai‘i Theatre. Their energy, connection with the crowd, and timeless music created a night that was nothing short of magical. Every note brought back memories and made new ones. And just when we thought it was over, the band came back out for an encore of two more songs, sending the entire crowd to their feet one last time.

The Hawai‘i Theatre Center itself was the perfect venue—historic, intimate, and acoustically amazing. Add to that the warm aloha spirit from staff and fellow fans, and you’ve got a concert experience that’s hard to top.

If you’re ever thinking of going VIP for a show—this is the way to do it.

An unforgettable night of music, memories, and aloha.
