I've stayed here the past three years while at a conference, and this definitely functions as a hotel. There are indoor rooms with beds and bathrooms, and the doors lock.

The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

You can walk indoors all the way to the DECC via heated Skywalks, so that's also neat.

Also, many thanks to the hotel for connecting the conference staff with hockey tickets and access to their suite; I was able to tag along and that was a real treat! If only UMD had won…

Not a detractor, but information: no breakfast included, and The Lyric (their attached restaurant) is closed on Mondays (in which case, I recommend a short walk to Duluth's Best Bread.

This will be my go to hotel when we stay In duluth such a great hotel with a luxury restaurant downstairs. the food coming out of that kitchen was amazing complements to the chef and his staff. Our waitress was amazing she made our dining experience very pleasant. The beds were a plus as well very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy. Can't wait to get back.
