Poignant exhibition of moulded vegetables by Mary Catherine Newcome strangely moving. Also enjoyed the fascinating alternative tarot cards. Looks like this is a place to return to as was in quite a rush and all sorts of interesting things going on.

Excellent afternoon spent looking at days gone by of Ipswich. Made us feel really old. Also happening is getting the kids involved with Lego. There was some fantastic buildings being built by the kids. Wonderful afternoon.

Stunning exhibition space with a vast octagonal rooflit entrance, and a number of smaller rooms adjoining. The Ipswich Art School itself has a long and fascinating history – well worth reading about some of its colourful characters. A shame this venue doesn't seem to be as widely publicised as it should. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the exhibitions generally very high quality. Very convenient location adjacent to Ipswich Museum at top of High Street.
