Our anniversary stay at John Hay Hotel (Forest Wing) was made truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional team there.
From the moment we arrived, we were met with genuine warmth and professionalism. We want to give a special shout-out to Dominic, the Manager, and Catrina from the reception. They both went above and beyond to ensure our celebration started on the perfect note.
Dominic and Catrina were absolutely outstanding, they took the time to personally show us the different available rooms, ensuring we found the perfect fit. They even suggested a wonderful alternative room that we hadn’t originally considered, which ended up being the highlight of our stay. Their patience and attention to detail really showed that they care about their guests' experience.
It’s rare to find such dedicated service, and their efforts made our anniversary feel incredibly special. If you’re looking for a place that combines beautiful surroundings with world-class hospitality, this is it. Thank you, Dominic and Catrina, for making our day so memorable!

My autistic son and I had a truly wonderful and memorable stay at The Forest Lodge in Camp John Hay, much like our previous experience at The Manor. The service was exceptional, and the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism made our stay not only comfortable but deeply reassuring as a parent. From start to finish, everything felt thoughtfully handled, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere that allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our time together. The experience was nearly flawless, and we are sincerely grateful to the entire team for making our stay so special.

Our family had a wonderful time. Stayed for four days and three nights in the Deluxe room at Forrest Lodge. The view from the balcony was amazing. The kids enjoyed the Christmas light show and movie night!
The hotel staff were very accommodating.
Special thanks to Twist’s staff who helped me with the surprise birthday cake for my daughters. Our stay could have been perfect but the room lacked a few items: no hair conditioner, no bath robes, complimentary items include only sachet of coffee and cream and mineral water, a free snack or welcome drinks could have been nice. Will still consider to come back though because of the location and view. Overall, it has been a memorable stay for our family.
