Loved it from the minute we walked in to when we left.
Food was amazing and just perfect, even a few adjustments to the menu was done perfecting with no complaints from the chef.
Our lovely waitress was so attentive and was like a shadow there when you need it which was a great help. Thank you Gerel for such exceptional service.

We'd moved on to Palawan Island, staying in Puerto Princesa City and we found this restaurant by searching the internet. We took a local "tricycle" (a partly enclosed sidecar fixed to a small motorbike to the restaurant – quite an experience).

This is a really nicely decorated restaurant, very clean and full of colour and art (we heard the lady owner is a painter). We loved it. We were given a complimetary tuna, ginger and lemongrass soup, then we chose:

    – Shrimps in garlic butter
    – Par-broiled blue marlin served with a papaya salad and aubergine tempura
    – Seafood kangkong (like morning glory with seafood added)

The portions were very generous and the food was wonderfully cooked: very tasty. We shared each of the dishes as they were so big.

Service was, as we've come to expect over here, friendly, smiley and efficient.

    We really enjoyed it.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kalui Seafood Restaurant – A must-visit in Puerto Princesa

If you want to experience authentic Filipino seafood, Kalui is the place to be. The food is fresh, well-balanced, and truly represents local flavors without being overly commercial.

The mango shake is a must-try—thick, natural, and very refreshing. Portions are satisfying and perfect for sharing.

The ambience is excellent—traditional Filipino interiors, calm lighting, and a very cultural vibe that makes the dining experience special. One unique touch is their souvenir gallery at the back, where you can browse and buy local handicrafts after your meal.

Overall, it’s great value for money. Expect to spend around ₱500-1000 per person, which is absolutely worth it for the quality, experience, and atmosphere.

Highly recommended if you’re visiting Puerto Princesa and want a memorable local dining experience.
