I attended Lakewood Playhouse this past Sunday to see ‘The Normal Heart.’ The production was simply outstanding. The actors’ performances were superb, and every moment felt genuine and moving. The staff welcomed us warmly, and the entire experience was comfortable and enjoyable. The show was executed flawlessly—definitely a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend it to any theater lover.

This is a very cozy playhouse. Everyone is friendly and just seem glad to be a part of it. We saw an absolutely hilarious performance of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians a few nights ago (by a visiting troupe) and not long ago saw The Revolutionists. Extremely well done. Timely. There were tears. We're definitely going to get a subscription.

Recently attend a play here and it was an excellent experience. I'd never seen a play acted in a center performance circle and the audience on all four sides before. I think it was both directed & acted brilliantly to be able to utilize this performance space best and the way they did in this play. It felt almost like minimalist theater, everything is stripped down and the experience is personal. I would happily attend any performance here in the future and I highly recommend this experience.
