Visited for the first time today to have a look round and see the Andy Warhol exhibition. A very pleasant and interesting experience. Excellent exhibition, enhanced by the well written information provided about Warhol's background and life experiences and what he was trying to achieve with each of his pieces of art. I learned a lot. There was also a very interesting small museum about the development of Woking. Then had a great lunch in the cafe. All the staff and volunteers were extremely pleasant and helpful.

I visited The Lightbox for the first time recently when I attended a preview at the Art Fund Gallery. I enjoyed it so much that I planned a return visit, this time with more space to explore the exhibitions in the upstairs galleries.

The galleries themselves are lovely, and a small museum also enhances the experience. It was fairly quiet during my visit, possibly because it was Easter, which made it even more relaxing. I enjoyed some food in the café before spending time viewing the current shows.

The entire centre has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, with outdoor seating by the canal, making it a great spot to pause and take in the surroundings. I drove from London and found parking to be easy in the nearby car parks, all of which are within a short walking distance.

It’s also close to the town centre and other attractions, making it easy to combine with a wider day out. It was reassuring to see places reopening after the lockdown, bringing life back to the area.

The Lightbox has toilets, wheelchair access, and feels very accessible for visitors of all ages. A lovely place to spend a peaceful afternoon.

A pleasant exhibition space to visit. The gallery lives up to its name as it is designed to let in a lot of light to enhance the experience.I visited An Andy Warhol exhibition and a Railway 200 Exhibition. Both worth visiting. Also plenty of other information on Woking where my Father was brought up.There is a small cafe in which I had a fish finger sandwich for lunch. There is also a terrace outside but I didn’t go out there.I hear the Lightbox has now gained funding for several years which is great news.A good way to spend a day out.
