Well worth a visit. Brought my ticket which is valid for a year. Payed extra for the rooftop tour which was brilliant, getting to see parts you wouldn't normally have access to. The guides are all very knowledgeable.

This place is historical beautiful in itself. The carvings and intricacies of the stonework are stunning. I would highly recommend the roof tour and don’t forget to look out for the imp! Take your time walking around. There’s lots to see. The concerts they hold here are spectacular.

The cathedral offers rooftop tours, and they are amazing! A very knowledgeable guide will escort you around parts of the cathedral which are usually out of bounds, enabling you to see the workmanship of the building from a whole new perspective. The views from the roof are incredible – both internally across the cathedral and externally over the landscape of Lincolnshire. Getting to see close-up the intricate craftsmanship at the top of the building was a real treat. The tour was well managed so that the steps and spiral staircases were not too much hard work.
