Right in the heart of the city and free to enter, which already makes it worth stepping into. From the outside it looks dark and properly gothic, but inside it opens up with colorful stained glass and detailed medieval carvings in wood and stone. You can take photos, there’s a helpful map with a short history at the entrance, and the whole place feels calm despite being central. Definitely worth visiting.

A really beautiful church. The beautiful colorful windows and this beautiful central aisle. Not only take pictures, but also linger for a short time and perceive the impressions. I was there on Feb.08.26. Fortunately, it was not so crowded.

This was on our list of places to visit for our two day trip to Manchester! We were greeted by the lovely Howard who introduced us to the cathedral and told us to take as many photos as we could! It was wonderful to understand the history and have a stroll in the gardens. We would 100% recommend.
