10/10 would recommend. Staff is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. The rooms are clean, modern, and really cozy, and the food is amazing. It’s a great spot for weddings, events, or just a chill family staycation. Definitely worth checking out!

My sister and I stayed at Maria Paz recently for about 6 days. My sister and I have not been to Philippines for 30 years and staying here was a dream. Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The room we were in had a queen bed and bunk bed – both were very comfortable. Decor was modern and the room came with a kettle with tea cups and coffee/tea, a mini-fridge, ample room to keep our luggage, spacious bathroom, and air conditioning. There were several swimming pools that were separated by depth that were very clean with gazebos available for rent that were complete with BBQ grills. When my sister and I were exploring the grounds during the weekend, there were many guests enjoying a pool day since the day was very hot. Seeing so many kids playing and enjoying the pools was incredibly nice to see.
The resort itself was lush – filled with beautiful tropical plants that is well maintained. I can see why this is a popular place to have weddings. In fact there was a garden wedding during our stay and I have to admit, the decor was beautiful! We were happy to catch the bride and groom before going to our room to offer our congratulations!
The restaurant, Bistro Alejandro, is on premises and the food was not only delicious but the staff made everything sweeter. The main dining room feels like stepping into your lola's dining/living room – plenty decorative kick knacks that feel like were collected throughout the years. The space was large enough to host a small event. My sister and I were able to celebrate our birthday with our family before we left and they did not disappoint! They also have an outdoor terrace space that you can eat in also that had fans to keep you cool. We ate there for breakfast on our last day – get the full filipino breakfast – you won't regret it!

Accommodation is okay for a few set of people. We had the place for ourselves, no other guests were there during our time of visit. We didn't try the pools because they looked unclean but overall the service was okay and it was nearby so it was convenient for us.
