We dropped by Miguel & Maria (Marikina) on a slow Sunday morning, and the first thing that stands out is the ambience. The space is warm and stylish—cozy lighting, comfortable seating, and an inviting, homey feel that’s great for brunch dates, family catch-ups, or a relaxed coffee. If you’re the type who values atmosphere, this place delivers.

That said, the service was noticeably slow even though it wasn’t busy. From getting acknowledged at the door to taking our order and checking back on the table, the pacing felt delayed. Staff were polite, but it seemed like coverage on the floor and follow-through (water refills, updates on orders, bill-out) could be tighter. A little more attentiveness would go a long way, especially during quieter hours when guests expect things to move smoothly.

The names and photos of each dish make ordering easy.
The wide selection of food and drinks offers a wide variety of choices.
The large and small rooms allow for a more intimate dining experience, and every dish we ordered was delicious.
The sophisticated and charming interior makes conversation even more enjoyable. I left with a pleasant lingering feeling, but I'd love to visit again. It's a memorable, delicious, and wonderful restaurant.

Delicious bacon chowder! Super bang for your buck as the meals are not too expensive but are delicious nonetheless.

We also enjoyed the pizza, which was juice and scrumptious even as a pizza on the thicker side. I also enjoyed the hot calamansi juice! Was very good for someone under the weather that day.
