Very informative and well curated little museum featuring stories and history regarding Western Colorado. Plus, the tower view is great. I will definitely be coming back a few more times to focus on absorbing more information.
They have a room dedicated to featured (and I assume temporary) exhibits.
First Friday (of each month) is free. But make sure and add a donation on your way in or out (near the front door) so this place can continue to operate and maintain the upkeep, and potentially even improve/grow their exhibits.

A good history museum about how and what was in this place 100 plus/minus years. I think 1-2 hours is enough and if you are in this town and thinking where to go, then this will be a good educational place. $7 for admission per person is an excellent price. There is also a tower at the museum where you can climb the stairs to the top and see the city from above. You can see the view in one of the videos

You cannot beat the deal this smaller place offers. Been to a few museums and zoos this trip and this place still beats them all for the price. Heck yes stop here for the $7. Dont forget to ride the elevator to the top of the tower. Great views. Its about 7 or 8 stories high so be patient with the elevator. It show only 3 levels so dont let that fool you.
