National Museum of. Natural History. The National Museum of Natural History houses 12 permanent galleries that exhibit the rich biological and geological diversity of the Philippines. It includes creatively curated displays of botanical, zoological, and geological specimens that represent our unique natural history.

Pretty neat museum and easily my favourite of the 3 National Museums in this precinct. To start, the atrium is marvellous! Showcases a variety of exhibits from flora and fauna to geological extracts and information about landforms and their impact on life here. On a Sunday, I waited about 10 mins to enter and it was fairly busy inside, but judging by other reviews weekdays are much less busy. If you only have time to visit one of the National Museums, I’d recommend this one.
Admission free, just bring your passport (if you’re a foreigner!)

A fascinating and educational museum that brings Philippine biodiversity and natural heritage to life. Admission is FREE, and weekdays are the best time to visit for a quiet and smooth experience.

The exhibits are well-curated and interactive, featuring everything from plants and animals to fossils and minerals, making it engaging for both adults and kids. The building is modern, clean, and very well-maintained, with spacious galleries that allow you to explore comfortably.

Best visited on weekdays—wear comfortable shoes as there’s a lot to see, take your time reading the displays, and don’t miss the iconic giant skeleton of the blue whale. Photography is allowed in most areas (no flash). Highly recommended for families, students, and anyone interested in nature, science, and Philippine wildlife.
