As someone who spent memorable years at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, and enjoyed the Northern Superior Lager, the Northern Superior Brewing and Tap Room instantly feels like a homecoming.

Whether we were recounting tales of past adventures or dreaming up new ones, the patio offered a comfortable and welcoming space that feels like an extension of those cherished memories.

The beer selections caters to every palate. Whether you prefer something light and refreshing or bold and full-bodied, Northern Superior has something to satisfy your taste.

The small bites menu is a great complement if you’re feeling peckish, offering just the right amount of sustenance without overshadowing the main event – the beer.

And let’s not forget the service, which was outstanding from start to finish. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness added to the experience, making Northern Superior Brewing and Tap Room a place I’ll be eager to return.

Amazing vibe, clean and professional. I watch a bartender inspect classes before serving and instantly new this was a detailed orientated establishment. Very friendly and lots of variety. Just a cool place to sit back chill and experience something different. The world needs more places like this. Can't wait to visit again.

Visited the Tap Room and had a fantastic time. We sat on the upstairs patio and really enjoyed the atmosphere, multiple beer flights, and pretzel with beer cheese. The lager is one of the best I've ever had. The bartender was extremely welcoming, did a fantastic job explaining the beers, and even offered us some local restaurant recommendations. The hostess and servers downstairs were also kind, personable, and very welcoming.

Can't wait until the beers are more widely available.
