I was out for a drive and googled places to eat in Alloa and this place had some good food reviews. So I gave it a shot and glad that I did. It was Monday lunchtime and the place was relatively quiet, although most people were eating. Good sign. They do a lunch menu with wraps, fries and a drink for £7.49. Excellent, although we went for the standard menu. We had cheeseburger with bacon and a balmoral burger, which came with a fair old serving of haggis. Both came with fries and onion rings and had 2 burgers on each. They were excellent and cost less than £11.00 (each). Very very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Definite worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for great food at a reasonable price.

Atmosphere’s buzzing, everyone shouting at the ref like he can actually hear us, and the pints are going down far too easily. Days like this remind you why football and the pub are a perfect combo.

Great atmosphere, food and drinks were well prepared. We were served and looked after by Denise. She went above and beyond for us. Quiz night was a lot of fun and a great choice of music. Very reasonable and I would highly recommend.
