I have been using Phoenix Photo Lab this past year and now trust them exclusively to develop and scan my 35mm film. Both color and black and white. They use traditional dark room processes to develop and then scan with a Fuji SA3000 scanner (at the time of this review) which gives excellent quality and color tones. The Standard film scanning resolution is more than adequate for social media use and prints up to 8×10, and they also offer high resolution scans with the same equipment. They hold on to my negatives for long periods of time which is convenient, and they’re always cut and organized well at pickup. The staff is fantastic. They can also do scanning alone as a service in the event that you develop your own film, or have old film you need to digitize.

This is a professional lab for those that care about quality and accuracy. This is not like other film shops that more emulate 1 Hour Photo booths.

Studio was clean and extremely well equipped. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. They even checked on a few times during the shoot to make sure we had everything we needed which was appreciated. Definitely will be coming back. The cyc wall was clean and freshly painted. The in-house lighting for both photography and video worked very well.

Recommend for any traveling film photogs or locals in AZ looking for a developer, printmaker etc. and personally I’m looking forward to experiencing more of their services…
