A beautiful zoo with a spectacular variety of animals and very friendly staff. I learned a lot about the jaguars (the one pictured is a 13 year old male named Saban) during a couple of wonderful conversations with the staff who were knowledgeable and happy to share. Additional experiences included a giraffe encounter, camel rides, and a touch tank with rays and small sharks. General admission can be purchased online and tickets are flexibly valid any day within a year of purchase. Be aware that some experiences (giraffe encounter, camel rides, carousel, etc.) require an additional cost, generally around $8-$10 or so.

Loved walking through the zoo. Such a peaceful and relaxing day! I loved the calm music they played throughout the park and enjoyed sitting at the lagoon in the warm sun. The staff are so friendly and you can tell they want you to enjoy your time there. We went on a Monday in January so it was not busy at all. We took our time and spent about 3-4 hours seeing everything. Loved it!

I enjoy having a membership so I can take my husband, mom or friend in free with me. This zoo is amazing. The animal enclosure are very nice. They truly think about giving the animals the very best habitat. The desert gardens are beautiful and there are sculptures, flowers, a lake and lots of huge shady trees. I like bringing a picnic lunch as there are many pretty spots to eat and enjoy your surroundings. They also have a Cafe and Jungle Java plus other food spots. There are so many animals at this zoo it's hard to see them all in a day. I had a recent surgery and the scooter rental made my day a pleasant one.
