My first visit to this lovely park. I am very glad we took the time to visit this lovely park and everything it has to offer.
A really lovely place to just sit and relax, walk around or even take the kids there to tire them out.
There is a very nice cafe called the Peacock Rooms with plenty of seating both indoors and outside. It has a wide selection of food and drinks, not just cakes. There is a very large greenhouse with giant cacti.
    Plenty of free car parking.

This is a beautiful open space even on a damp February day. Met a lovely lady in the Peacock area who knew every Peacock 🦚 by name and showed me around. Gift shop very reasonable priced.

I love pittencrieff park, or The Glen as it's known locally. Such a beautiful park and gardens, there are peacocks roaming about which are fab to see, or you can visit them in the peacock house. Pittencrieff park is very well maintained and has toilets, cafe, picnic benches, gardens, children's play areas with an ice cream van, and is a lovely space to spend a few hours. There is a small hot house with cacti and other plants. There are a few different paths to walk all around The Glen. It is such a beautiful park with stunning views of Dunfermline Abbey and over to Edinburgh on a clear day. Definitely well worth a visit.
