What a Great craft brewery in the city of Cleveland. They have been around for quite a while now.

They have a large selection of their own beers on tap. Many more than your average Cleveland craft brewery. Pretty impressive. Anything from your sours to your IPAs to your stouts and even barley wine. They also have a food menu that is reasonably priced.

The facility itself is very clean. Will taking care of.

The staff know their beer inside and out. If there's something you're looking for or have a certain taste they will recommend it.

The bar is also dog friendly. They have a nice size patio to enjoy during the warmer weather.

Parking can be a bit of a pain. There is street parking and also paid parking very close to the brewery. Definitely worth a visit.

Haze Jude by Platform has to be the best hazy juicy IPA in Ohio and one of the best in the USA. We have been enjoying this beer for a long time and it is our favorite. Wish I had Platform Beer glasses to pour it in. We use our Brink glasses for now. Great beer!

Cleveland, Ohio has a thriving craft beer community and breweries continue to open at a relatively rapid pace. I visited several of them when I was in Cleveland supporting my beer blog, Great Beer Now, and among the ones I visited and liked very much was Platform Beer.

Constructed from a former bowling alley, Platform Beer is a cool place with a warm, inviting, welcoming atmosphere. The brick and wood place you in an historic frame of mind and the long tables are good for large groups and for getting to know others. They have an outdoor patio, too, perfect for those times when you want to bring your dog along for the visit.

Platform Beer was founded on the concept of serving as an incubator for other, budding brewers. They brew beer for other folks who are looking to see their own beer brewed by an actual brewery and enjoyed by others. The innovation is apparent in the number of beers brewed and sold at Platform Beer. They have a large variety of styles on tap at any given time, including sours, barrel aged beers, and many others.

Platform Beer is helping to revitalize the Cleveland economy and most any lover of craft beer will find the brew and the atmosphere to their liking. I recommend a visit here when you’re in the Cleveland area. The beer, the service, and most everything else will leave you feeling good.
