Long review ahead:
My family and I ate here last night. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive and very kind. Just from the customer service aspect, it's an easy 11/10.
The food was very close to perfection as well. We ordered more than we could chew, but because of the deliciousness, we couldn't help but indulge ourselves. Our stellar choices were the: Negitorodon, Ebitojidon, Strawberry and Chocolate ice creams, the potato salad, and the complimentary almond tofu (this honestly made our evening that much more special and it made us very emotional).
I had the privilege to talk to the staff and head chef and was surprised to know everything is made from scratch, especially the buckwheat noodles for their ramen! When we do go back, we'll be sure to try the other ramen choices as the Tantanmen was just a tad bit too salty for us, but still incredibly good.
To the waiters and waitress who served us last night: thank you from the bottom of our hearts, truly. We were tired from our drive but was immediately lifted just from your outstanding service. We truly felt welcomed and appreciated to be eating at your restaurant. I wish I could've personally asked for your names and thanked you all respectively for how amazing we felt throughout our dinner.
To the Head Chef and kitchen staff: thank you chefs for cooking with love. I know that sounds corny, but your food really touched us. I honestly thought you had trained in Japan! I hope and pray your cooking reaches many more hungry hearts!
To the owner and managerial staff: you have an amazing workforce and they all need to be commended for the amazing dinner they served us. The food, the service, the personal nuances they displayed; it was incredible. Your people made us feel like they WANT us to be happy, and not for a quick profit. You see so many restaurants nowadays that just serve their patrons for the money; take the order, serve the food, get the payment and then on to the next customer. Your staff never displayed that behavior last night. Not for a second.
In no way did they make us feel like another statistic. They made us feel welcomed, at home, appreciated and honestly, a cared-for human being. It's been a very long time before last night when a waiter or server asked how was the food and if we needed anything. Even longer when the Head Chef came out and personally thanked me for MY gratitude!
I apologize for the lengthy, corny, emotionally-invested review. But truly, the food and service touched us very deeply. We hope and pray for your business to thrive, and moreso hope to come back and experience a wonderful service- sooner rather than later.
