This 55 and older government subsidized facility is absolutely wonderful! There are 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with covered parking, along with a beautiful, large outside pool. The building and grounds are well maintained inside and out. There are always fun things to do and be involved in if you choose to do so. Some meals are also provided. Unfortunately, politics have played a part in these reviews and have given Dottie, manager, a bad rap. Dottie was amazing and always there to lend assistance to the residents as needed. Sadly, she is no longer there and will be missed by many of the residents. However, a replacement has been hired that appears to be great and is trying to learn the ropes now. There has been a problem in keeping maintenance personnel. Those that have been there have been very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to the residents needs. “Security” is sketchy. It is not provided by an outside security individual. This is an area that needs to be addressed so that it is NOT a burden and the responsibility of the residents. Despite this, I would highly recommend this beautiful, peaceful facility and if you are fortunate enough to live here, you will be blessed.

*(Update: I don't believe it is the management team that left the response to my review, besides all the grammatical errors in that response.) My intent is to leave a true review in order to help the people know what it's like to live at this community. When a service and community is this great, I believe a service is due to allow other people to know. If you read my full review, it will help answer your questions about my experience here. I am also available to answer questions you have on this community.

*I lived at Red Cliff Manor for about 18 months while serving a church mission. I own a nice home but rented out a unit here while I served a mission. Most people are retired at this community so it was a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Dottie with management and the maintenance employee's were professional and personable with the tenants and knew how to effectively run the apartment community.

*I can't recall anything ever breaking or needing maintenance in my unit because everything was maintained above standard. The apartments and the grounds around the apartments were kept exceptionally clean inside and outside. I was on the second floor and never saw a spider or bug in my unit.

*Each units has a large laundry room with a lot of storage shelving due to the taller ceilings. This may be because I was on the second floor so I am not sure about the main floor ceiling height. There is also an extra community laundry room on each wing of the community. The facility was very safe and is secured at night with recording camera's all over the place.

*The tenants were like extended family and there were always social activities going on. The management team would put out a monthly calendar of all the different activities during the month. The facility also networked with the local community service organizations that would come to the community to help residents. Another great activity and amenity was the clean pool area and it was nice in the summer and when family came to visit. The residents participated in swim aquatic exercises.

*The units also went to entire Pergo-style laminate flooring, taking out the carpet which made it nicer for the residents in wheel chairs or walkers while also upgrading aesthetics, even though the units are already beautifully maintained.

*A downside was the lack of garages and storage, which many residents needed. Even simple things like hobbies is important and I witness residents not have enough room for hobbies. There’s unused property in the back that could be developed for this purpose. Many residents lacked space for hobbies, with a few using rented garages, but not everyone could afford or find one available.

*The kitchens are smaller with no pantry area. A positive however, is that the appliances are full size. Also, the floors and walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbor sneeze or hear their TV.

*There is not a fitness room possibly due to management liability, however, there is a fitness center a block away.

*There is also a rehabilitation facility directly across the street. I saw the convenience of this where a spouse was able to walk across the street when her husband was temporarily a patient at that facility.

*I would definitely recommend living here. It is the management team along with the tenant social organization that keeps this place running like it does. Some communities don't run as great as others. This one is better than great.

*Since I am not near retirement age and was probably the youngest resident in this community, it allowed me to see how my parents would be treated if they lived here. I would give Red Cliff Manor an ‘A’ grade for safety and security, cleanliness of the property and going way above minimum standards to upkeep the apartments. Also, when I finished my mission and moved back home, Red Cliff Manor was honest in returning my full deposit and all that was due back to me.

It's a great 55 and over Senior Citizen apartment complex with lots of amenities, such as swimming pool, elevator, game room/dining room with weekly activities. Secure facility with CCTV cameras, gated pool area, exceptional management. Rent based on income. Onsite maintenance. We just moved my mother in there and hope she's happy there. My wife and I really like the the place and would love to move in if we could. The residents that we've met are very friendly and neighborly!
