Growing up in Red Deer, I have been coming to this library since I was 6. I would go there after school when I was old enough to go alone to read books and watch movies. 27 years later, I still go there not as often, but it always feels nostalgic to check a book out once in a while. The staff are really great. I love how welcoming they are to all people. We should all be so welcoming and not judgmental. I would highly recommend visiting the downtown library.

This place is amazing. The staff are genuinely excited about helping you locate book movies, audio material the staff are amazing at explaining the process to sign up for a card and were able to answer my questions quickly

Good collection of books and cleanliness. However, It's the public that are using. One lady was talking on a phone on speaker for almost an hour! People talking like hanging in garden.
Come on. You are in a library.. Have some respect for other readers. !
