The carrousel characters are beautiful. You don't see hand carved nostalgia like this everywhere. It is a carrousel so expect the traditional music, lights and children. There is a small gift shop with treats available. Purchase your ride tickets at the gift shop. Stop by for a little bit of sweet childlike reminiscing. We stopped by after another local attraction and just made the next to the last ride of the day. Rides are 1 for $2, 3 for $5, 6 for $10 and 20 for $35. Hours may vary but generally, spring/summer Tuesday -Sat 10-5 Sunday 11-5. With fall/winter Thursday-Sun 11-5. This is on the corner of Main and 4th Streets. There is free parking, picnic tables, and shade trees. Located near many restaurants and shops.

I love this place so much. Since I was a child. The Richland Carrousel in Mansfield still brings me pure joy every time I visit. I’ve loved it since I was a little girl, and it hasn’t lost any of its magic. The music, the lights, and the beautifully painted animals make it feel like stepping into a storybook. It’s clean, well cared for, and the staff is always kind. Whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart, riding this carousel is a sweet dose of nostalgia and one of my favorite simple pleasures in town.

The carrousel was in good working order and rides were offered one right after the other. There were various animals, not just horses, as well as sleighs if you didn't want to climb on the back of an animal . It was great for the little ones right up to the adults and senior citizens .
