We loved it. Warm reception, AMAZING breakfast, big, clean, comfortable bedroom. Very close to the station. They have skin care (gel, lotion, etc), toothbrushes, hair dryer and everything to make you fell welcome and at home. 100% satisfied and thankful for making out stay in Kyoto so good for a conservative price.

Great hotel! Happy with our stay. They were easily able to accommodate our tour group and the rooms were very comfortable. Not a huge fan of the breakfast, but there were plenty of nearby options to compensate. This was the best hotel I stayed at while I was in Japan. Walkable ti the 5 story pagoda.

Great location and very clean rooms. The value for money is excellent.

The only downside is the reception staff’s level of English, which is quite limited. It feels like they recite a memorized script, and as soon as you ask anything slightly different, they get lost. I understand this is Japan and not everyone is expected to speak English, but for a hotel aiming for 5 stars, this should be part of the standard.

The parking is convenient, but it closes after 10 PM, which is a bit inconvenient.
