Great place for dinner, the atmosphere is really relaxing and rustic. Food it some of the best I've tasted.
100% would recommend this to anyone. Can imagine it would be really pretty in the summer with a cocktail and some great food. Bliss.

The River Cottage is located on the historic Royal William Yard with good views across the Tamar. For my third visit there, we were just passing on a warm day and saw the tables set up on the sunny waterfront so stopped on a whim. The service was efficient as per my previous visits but I do find it hard to choose from the menu. I feel that they try very hard to be organic and also sympathetic to local producers (which I commend). There is always something on the menu that I like but my particular tastes are not exactly spoiled for choice. On all of my visits I have enjoyed my food and have been very pleased with the service.

Excellent quality food, the baked Camembert is absolutely delicious. Good service too, no waiting time we could sit where we pleased. You have view on the kitchen, keeping an eye on your food. All of that in an historical building with raw stones and a unique view on the harbour.
