This place is absolutely lovely! They owner is one of the friendliest hotel owners I have ever met! SO courteous! Not only is it the best value accommodation in Medicine Hat, it is clean, and spacious. Every room have their very own router and individual password for WIFI, the soaps, shampoos etc. Are full size… not those crappy little waste bottles that hardly have enough for one person. I actually love the fact that the floors are not carpet, it's so much cleaner, and makes it feel like being in an apartment.
I will never stay anywhere else in Medicine Hat!

While it may not look like much from the outside, the current owners have fixed up the rooms nicely, and they are clean and comfortable. The hospitality of the owners really elevated my stay. I will definitely be back.

Sometimes you try something different and it turns out to be great experience. That’s the case with the Riverside Motel. We usually stay in the chain hotels, but this time I was travelling alone decided to try something different and cheaper. The rooms have been recently renovated with a 12 cu.ft. fridge and range, the beds were comfortable and the place was nice and clean. There’s a great little local restaurant right on the parking lot so you don’t even have to drive for dinner. It’s always great to deal directly with the owner of a place and that is the case here. I’ll definitely be staying again.
