I took a six-week oil painting class at the Saint John Arts Centre and loved every minute of it. The building itself is beautiful and full of character, with spacious, bright studios that feel welcoming and inspiring. You’re allowed to make a mess, experiment, and fully immerse yourself in the process. The staff and instructors were incredibly friendly, supportive, and approachable, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and encouraging. A wonderful place to learn, create, and feel at home as an artist.

I attended a private event hosted here, and I must say—it’s a very nice venue. What really stood out to me was how clean the bathroom was. It was fully stocked with everything, including mouthwash! I don’t recall ever seeing mouthwash in a public washroom before. The staff at the help desk were also very friendly and had a smile on their faces the entire time, which made them super approachable.

Skip all of the tourist trap sites and visit this impressive nonprofit art center instead. Exhiɓits were outstanding, staff pleasant and helpful, highly recommed!
