Lovely little pub , a little far off the beaten track and more of a locals pub , which is good. Really friendly bar staff , civilized patrons. Nice selection of drinks and the pub is well decorated and clean .
Has an oldly world charm to it that few pubs have anymore.

This pub has recently changed ownership and what a fantastic transformation it has been! Spotless inside, it smells clean and the Decor is fantastic!

We were in for a couple of hours and the bar manager is perfect for front of house, he was polite and engaging with everyone that came in and made us feel extremely welcome during our visit!

Fantastic drinks selection and they were very reasonably priced! They also had happy hour offers on drinks and cocktails which we would be keen to try on another visit! Would have stayed longer if we didn't have plans. Will definitely be back!

The food was good quality. The chips and onion rings were cold, and the fish was gorgeous but batter greasy. the staff was great. I will definitely go back to try the mixed grill it a shame no one asked if food was OK, and do you want a pudding like they did all other tables, maybe next time we go, they would have bin 5 star's if hot food
