Staff Ms. 张克霞 was very dedicated to making up our room. She also remembered our request for more mineral water and topped it up for us while making up the room, without having us to remind her again. 🙂 Thank you for making our stay a comfortable one.

really good experience, hotel room was big and clean. the staff were also really friendly and helpful, with the hotel providing taxi services. the hotel is also really near (walking distance) other attractions such as the 西湖 (west lake) and the 银泰 (big shopping mall), with many food options near the hotel and at these attractions as well

The hotel’s layout is a bit unusual, as one side of the building sits very close to a residential building, which offers very little privacy. We were initially assigned a room on that side and requested to be moved to the opposite side, which faces the street and felt much more comfortable.

Overall, the hotel was clean and well maintained, and the amenities were great. The lobby has a wonderful seating area that’s perfect for relaxing, and the WiFi was easy to connect to and very reliable.

While cleanliness was not an issue, there were a couple of minor functional concerns. The shower drain was slow and water tended to leak outside the shower area, which seemed like a design flaw. The toilet also did not have a very strong flush, and we ended up clogging it once; however, housekeeping addressed it quickly and efficiently.

Service throughout our stay was excellent. One thing to note is that there are no self-service laundry machines available—laundry must be sent out for dry cleaning only, so plan accordingly.

Additionally, during the winter months the hotel switches to heating only. As Americans, we tend to run warm, so we cracked open the windows, which helped, though the room still felt a bit warm at times.

Overall, a pleasant stay with good service and a few things to be aware of.
