The view was absolutely stunning! The mountain and the sea was just a feast for the eyes. If I am an artist, I could paint it by memory alone. It was a 333 steps climb but worth it. The place needs some work but I don't mind because nature took over as it should be.
You can hear the oreole or kilyawan bird ❤️from the background and the dredging 🥲.
The stairs going up was not that hard. You can easily navigate unless a PWD. The fee is only ₱20 per person. The church below has a decent toilet. This is a must. Along the way here at melgar you will also pass by an estuary with so many mangroves it reminds me of coron. 2-3 barangays before melgar is Sta. cruz where there is a large marshland where you can see lots of birds (you won't mind the itik or domesticated ducks that the farmers take here for feeding because it is large). Perfect for avian lovers like me. This is a beautiful place to visit. I hope somebody makes it a sanctuary.
