A wonderful library full of kind and helpful staff! There is a large underground parking beneath the building, with elevator & stair access to the library above. There is also public street parking around the building. The building is accessible for wheelchairs & walkers. The library has several self check-outs, as well as the welcome/check-out desks. There is a large information reception area in the back, near the children and teens section. The children's area is really nice with a big tree, various play areas, light tables, building blocks, toddler computers, puppet theatre, and a grocery stand. The shelves are lower, and there are also some bins with books easily accessible for little ones. They have great interactive kits with books & accessories that go with the stories in them (you can check them out, or use them on-site). They have express grab-bags with pre selected books for toddlers based on their ages – which are awesome for exploring something new with your little one at home. They have a copy room and some study pods. There is a cafe on the main floor for coffee & snacks. The second floor has large meeting rooms and couches. They have community boards with information and various activities they plan in the library throughout the month. You can place holds on books online and they will notify you when they are ready for pick up. The building has a drop off/return locations outside along the main street, in the underground parking, and right inside the library.

A wonderful venue with lots of places to sit quietly and write. They have a great Writer in Residence who you can make an appointment if you want help with your stories.
You can have a tea and read or grab a light lunch. Across the aisle there is a full restaurant for a relaxing evening after all your hard writing.
