  • 5.0/5:

Full service hotel and event space adjacent to and attached to the Fukuoka International Congress Center. I didn't stay in the hotel, but its staff were friendly and helpful when I needed to arrange for a taxi from the Congress Center. I would stay here in the future if in Fukuoka and would recommend it to friends.

I went to a music concert. There aren’t much public transportation to get there…

But the infrastructure is good for music event, and the restroom 🚻 is well designed that women don’t have to wait in long lines.

I came here for two nights of concerts. This venue is not next to any train station. The closest station is Gion which is about ten minutes walk. Alternatively, there are some buses that stops outside the venue. The concert hall itself is a little old but still in ok condition. Ground floor viewing is actually not bad, even if you are at the last few rows on ground floor. Both my concert nights are on ground floor so I am not sure about viewing from second or third floor but it does looks steep and far. There are a limited number of eating places in this building. On the streets nearby, there are not much food choices. They are mainly local neighbourhood streets. Only saw a convenient stores opposite the street. It is best to eat somewhere else before coming to here.
