This was my first time staying here and wow — it absolutely did not disappoint! I was upgraded to a penthouse, which was such a lovely surprise. The private roof deck with its incredible view made the experience even more special. I also loved the bar right by the pool — such a fun atmosphere with great vibes all around. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. I truly can’t say enough good things about my stay and can’t wait to come back!

My group and I’s experience (Velkro wedding) at Surfjack Hotel and Swim Club was nothing short of exceptional. We traveled to Waikiki with a 10-guest wedding party, and from the very beginning, their team went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. They worked thoughtfully to place our rooms as close together as possible, which made coordinating wedding events and gatherings effortless.

On top of that, they generously upgraded our room at no cost so we would have extra space for wedding prep. That gesture alone made such a difference during a busy and meaningful time. It felt like they truly cared about our experience, not just our reservation.

Every interaction with the front desk team was outstanding — welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can tell the staff takes pride in creating a warm, relaxed, and personalized atmosphere.

The location couldn’t have been better. It’s incredibly walkable to some of the most beautiful spots in Waikiki, making it easy for our entire group to explore and enjoy the area without needing transportation. And getting to meet the hotel’s mascot, Jack, was such a fun and memorable touch that added to the charm of our stay.

If we are ever back on Oahu, there is no question where we’ll be staying. The Surfjack made our wedding week even more special, and we are so grateful for the care and hospitality we received. Five stars without hesitation.

Cannot say enough good things about this adorable little hidden gem of a hotel!! From the moment you walk onto the property, an open-air, Bali-style entrance with pool in the courtyard, Surfjack impresses. Very friendly & helpful local front desk, very clean, great cool AC, balcony with a little table and chairs. The location is excellent, right in the middle of town, a 6 minute walk to the beach, cute little coffee shop attached, a nice restaurant/bar with happy hour specials on site, ABC store on the corner, food truck across the street, Thai restaurant next door, and every shop/restaraunt just a block away…yet it was still very serene & tranquil, a little oasis off the main street. Each night there's great live music by the pool. Pet-friendly, and there's even a Tuesday meet&greet with the resident hotel dog. There's a free little coffee setup each morning next to the pool, and a HiWater Technology water machine in the pool area to refill water bottles. Shower area included shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and the hotel even provided beach towels to take to the beach. Room does also include a little fridge. Beds were very comfortable. Amazing value for the price. 1000% will stay here on our next trip!
