This is my first time going to the hideaway. In support of the Sea dogs Freeport throwback. I was in the dance group Superstition and we had a blast thank you very much for having us! I loved the space for the dance floor. The service was great the food was great the drinks were Merry!

First time here. We didn’t know what to expect. Ordered the Stromboli since it was the only picture I saw online. It did not disappoint – huge portion good for sharing. Service was questionable during the start because we didn’t know if a server was coming or not. Once that was established everything was good. You can smoke inside, so if you’re particular about cigarette smoke that’s something to consider. Music was my hubs playlist. So he was happy. The Bobby Kingston Band was incredible and had dancers on the dance floor every song! Lots of locals enjoying a typical Saturday -country style.. this is a hidden gem, we will definitely be back!

First time here, all the way from the Netherlands—and let me tell you, this place delivers! I was on the hunt for something more authentic than the typical tourist saloons, and I struck gold with The Hideaway.

This bar is the real deal. No flashing neon nonsense, no overpriced drinks, and best of all—no crowds of tourists. Just pure, down-to-earth vibes, an amazing honky tonk atmosphere, and the kind of friendly, genuine service that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit.

It’s got that old-school charm and just the right amount of grit. Great music, cold drinks, and the kind of crowd you want to hang out with. Honestly, more people need to discover this place—but not too many. Let’s keep it awesome.
