Michael and Linda are truly the sweetest people to work with, and they made my wedding day incredibly special. One of the biggest reasons I chose their venue—beyond the venue itself—was their kindness and excitement from the very first time we met. I still remember how excited Linda sounded when I called to let her know I wanted to sign the contract. That same energy carried through the entire planning process, the wedding day itself, and even afterward.

On the day of the wedding, it was raining on and off, and I had originally planned for an outdoor ceremony. We made a last-minute decision to move everything inside, and the team at The Barn worked so hard to create the most beautiful indoor ceremony space. I can’t emphasize enough how little worry I felt because of how flawlessly they handled everything. They truly are known for being the best and fastest at flipping a room between ceremony and reception.

Overall, Linda and Michael not only have an amazing venue—they have the most genuine hearts for the people they work with and for what they do. It was an absolute pleasure to have my wedding at The Barn, and I would choose them all over again in a heartbeat.

Wow! I can’t imagine a more grace-filled venue/experience for my daughter’s recent wedding and reception. The facilities at The Barn at Shady Lane are rustic and beautiful (the stunning 8-foot iron and crystal chandelier that anchors the space is stunning). The Adlers (who own and operate the venue) were incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely loving as they helped us pull off the event. Having the Groom’s Cottage and Bride’s Loft on-site was perfect for the wedding party to prepare in comfort. We felt so encouraged and supported every step of the way! Our family is overwhelmed with gratitude!

From the hospitality of everyone we came across, the beautiful and picture perfect grounds, the flawless “flip” from worship service to reception (even climbing a ladder to swag curtains), to handling issues that arise (like when we ordered a stage too big), and having a space where the bride and groom can enjoy the company of their most special friends while getting ready, and everything in between it was perfect!
