Marguerite, the owner of the venue and essentially the event coordinator, is nothing short of a saint. She is an angel, a master planner, and ensured every single detail ran smoothly and beautifully – something that made my job as the MOH extremely easy. I had the pleasure of working closely with her over the course of the 3-day celebration, and I was continuously amazed by her attention to detail, her warmth, and her seamless coordination of every surprise and request from the bride and groom.
Her kindness and calm presence made everything feel effortless, and her ability to anticipate needs before they even came up was incredible. She truly went above and beyond in every way.
The venue itself looks like something out of a fairytale. The house where the bride, groom, and I stayed was stunning—gorgeously decorated, thoughtfully equipped, and perfectly set up for us to get ready before walking straight to the dock where the ceremony took place. The setting was magical: lush greenery, sparkling water, beautiful florals, and—amazingly—not buggy at all, even in July! It wasn’t too hot, and every photo had a gorgeous backdrop, whether it was the waterfront gazebo or the expansive grounds.
The main venue easily accommodated our 109 guests, offering plenty of space while maintaining a cozy, romantic atmosphere.
This venue—and Marguerite—exceeded every expectation. If you’re considering this place for your wedding, do it. You’ll be in the best possible hands.
