We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Chapel at Gruene. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the staff is amazing! Michael was so awesome and accommodating to help make our day perfect. The vendor list they provided was an immense help to find photographers, DJs, security and bar service staff. We loved everything about the venue. Having access to the cottages on site was so helpful for guest coming from out of town. The bridal suite was sweet as can be. My husband loved having the cottage to get ready in and hang out before our wedding started. Having access to the decor that was offered was also a major bonus! We had so many options! We highly recommend! We invited exactly 114 people and the reception area was perfect for eating, dancing and celebrating! So thankful to have been able to get married here!

01•08•26 was truly a magical day for my husband and me. The venue and chapel were absolutely perfect, and every detail came together seamlessly. The vendors recommended by Mr. Michael Tompkins were outstanding, and the venue’s own décor options made the planning process so much easier.
The staff was incredible—always available, just a quick text away whenever we needed anything. The cottages were exactly what we needed after a long, beautiful night by the fire, and it was such a treat to be only a few steps away from a cozy bed.
And a special shoutout to Joel—he was amazing. As he drove me to the chapel in the golf cart, he helped ease my nerves right before I walked down the aisle. His kindness made such a difference.
Overall, the experience was unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

After securing the venue, we were given access to their entire décor warehouse at no additional cost, which already felt far beyond generous. As if that wasn’t enough, the venue hosts regularly scheduled “second-day look” events, allowing us to return and revisit the space throughout our planning process – an absolute gift for any couple! As an added bonus, they also offer additional access to the property for engagement sessions, bridal sessions, and rehearsals.

From start to finish, the owners were engaged, professional, communicative, flexible, and genuinely invested in our vision. Their love for what they do is evident in every detail; from the impeccable care of the property, to their sincere support of our ideas, to the frontline service of their staff. Communication was always consistent, timely, and thoughtful, which brought so much peace of mind throughout the entire process.
